Dr. Baba Limann joined PCCMA in 2006. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. Dr. Limann completed his internal medicine residency at New York Medical College (NYMC) – Metropolitan Hospital Center (New York, NY), where he also served as chief resident.
Dr. Limann then completed a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at NYMC – Westchester Medical Center (Valhalla, NY) and a sleep medicine fellowship at North Shore – Long Island Jewish Health System (Manhasset, NY). He is a graduate of the Marmara University School of Medicine in Turkey (1996) and Mfantsipim School in Ghana (1988).
Dr. Limann is currently secretary of PCCMA. He also serves as Medical Director of Respiratory Services at PinnacleHealth® and associate director at Capital Region Sleep Disorders Center (Linglestown, PA). He is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, American Thoracic Society, American Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Sleep Society. In addition, he is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), American College of Chest Physicians, (FCCP), and American Academy of Sleep Medicine (FAASM).
Dr. Limann’s special interests include caring for patients with sleep disorders, pulmonary disorders, and those that are critically ill. He is married to Bibi and has 2 children.
