Dr. Richard Evans joined Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Associates in 1993. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency and pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.
Dr. Evans is currently CEO and president of PCCMA. He serves as the Medical Director of Select Specialty Hospital® in Camp Hill and Harrisburg. He also serves on the medical executive committee at Select Specialty Hospital in Camp Hill and the national advisory board of Select Medical Long Term Acute Care Hospitals.
Dr. Evans is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and American Thoracic Society, and a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). His special interests include caring for patients with sleep disorders, pulmonary disorders, and those who are critically ill, as well as performing electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy (ENB). Dr. Evans also enjoys teaching and supervising the residents of several local teaching programs. He is married to Cheryl and they have 3 children.
