Dr. Safa Farzin joined Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Associates in 2003 and became co-owner in 2004. He is board certified in internal medicine and critical care medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Harrisburg Hospital and his fellowship in critical care medicine at Brown University at The Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. Dr. Farzin is a graduate of the Saint Georges University School of Medicine in the West Indies (1998) and the University of Maryland (1994).
Dr. Farzin is the vice president of PCCMA. He is an intensivist and works mainly in ICUs at various hospitals. Dr. Farzin has served as the Director of Critical Care for PinnacleHealth® Systems since 2005 and as teaching faculty for the PinnacleHealth Internal Medicine Program since 2003. He also serves as the ICU Medical Director at Harrisburg Hospital and Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Farzin is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. His special interests include ICU administration, teaching, and sepsis. He is married to Rachel and they have 3 children.
